In partnership with the Citizens Foundation, the Foundation completed the "Citizens Decide - Citizens' Initiative" thematic project to popularise an instrument of participative democracy - the civic legislation initiative. A representative of the Citizens Foundation was invited to Poland. He attended a meeting with citizen communities (NGOs). Meeting participants drafted constitutional amendments allowing for increased civic impact on the decision-making process leading to constitutional changes, and were presented with related Icelandic experiences. The final project report was expanded to include i.a. information on post-2008 Icelandic civic activities to the purpose of participative democracy and a new constitution.
