The Foundation completed the "Family with a Plus" thematic project in the field of preventing the social exclusion of families and children living with HIV. A study tour to Norway was organised jointly with the Positive in the Rainbow Union, an organisation active in a similar area; Partner organisation representatives were invited to Poland. A series of meetings allowed participants to earn more about solutions applied, and to exchange experiences concerning HIV/AIDS prevention, social support, and counselling for HIV/AIDS patients. Participants were also told how the KirkenBymisjon-operated AKSEPT centre for persons living with HIV works. Partner organisation representatives joined Foundation representatives i.a. for visits to the National Centre for AIDS and to a hospital treating children with HIV. They also participated in the "People Living with HIV - in the Family and the Society" conference held in Warsaw. Furthermore, study visits yielded a thematic project application filed for the third edition of the competition jointly with the Positive in the Rainbow Union (as project leader) and the Norwegian organisation PION (funding was approved for the project).
