The 2nd Forum of Participation Practitioners took place on May 28 and 29 in the Brothers Jabłkowskcy House. This year the meeting was organized within the Citizens for Democracy programme.
In these 2-days lasting workshops and conferences took part representatives of the public administration (local and central level), NGOs, people supporting participatory actions: local activists, journalists, academics, business people.
We discusse e.g. how to deal with the burnout, how to involve the residents in creating local policies, what are the difficulties and challenges concerning participatory budget, how to introduce children and youth into participatory activities in a reasonable manner.
Over 180 people from whole Poland and some guests from Iceland and Norway took part in the event.
