The Foundation completed the "Forensic Watch" thematic project focusing on the civic control of court experts in the context of amended criminal law proceedings expanding the options of parties to court trials in terms of evidence gathering. A study visit to Oslo was organised to the purpose of getting in touch with the Norwegian judiciary. Foundation representatives were exposed to the Norwegian methodology of handling forensic evidence and expert opinions, and told about operations of the Norwegian Criminal Case Review Commission. Study visit participants - using Norwegian experience, among others - drafted recommendations for courts and decision-makers, all duly contained in the report titled "Expert Opinion Errors in the Context of Miscarriage of Justice. Remedy Options and Measures".
