Over 20 people took part in the weekend (22-23.03) training of No Hate Campaign activists in Warsaw. Participants learnt how to involve in the No Hate Campaign run by the Council of Europe. They discussed reasons, forms and results of the hate speech and talked about the possible ways of counteracting its manifestations online and offline.
The direct result of the training will be info video about the hate speech produced by the young activists – soon online.
The training was organized within the project implemented by Young Journalists Association Polis within the Citizens for Democracy programme.

We invite organizations that received funding within the I call for proposals of Citizens for Democracy programme for workshop “How to plan effective capacity building of your organization?”. Workshop will be held in two terms: April 7 and 8 from 10.00 to 18.00 in Batory Foundation in Warsaw. If we receive more applications, we will organize additional series.

On Thursday, March 27 in the Batory Foundation in Warsaw, we will hold a workshop “Anti-discrimination workshops in local communities”. The workshop is open for the NGOs located out of Warsaw, that applied or plan to apply for grant in “Combating discrimination” thematic area or want to organize anti-discrimination activities within “Children and youth” thematic area.

We’ve just started a cycle of info meetings for the organizations, that received grants in the competition for thematic projects within the Citizens for Democracy programme. Today together with the Polish Children and Youth Foundation we host in the Batory Foundation Project promoters, who implement projects within ‘children and youth’ thematic area. Coordinators will learn how to issue reports, how to introduce modifications through the Electronic Applications System and how to assure proper promotion of the implemented activities. Info meetings for the other thematic areas will be taking place till March 12.
