First round of the II call for proposals for thematic projects in the Citizens for Democracy programme is closed. We received via the electronic system 2 076 project outlines with the total requested budget of PLN 393 456 464.

Again the largest number of organizations were interested in children and youth thematic area – 824 submitted applications. Then counteracting exclusion – 576, civic participation – 339, combating discrimination – 151 and public scrutiny – 186 project outlines what is almost two times more that in the I call.

After checking the formal eligibility, the project outlines will be sent to the experts for assessment. We expect to accomplish the first-stage selection phase by 2 June, 2014. Then we will invite selected applicants to submit full proposals.
